Hi, My name is Chiaki. People call me Chi, Chiaki Teriyaki, or Versachiaki. I was born in Japan, but I have been moving back and forth between Tokyo, Japan and Bangkok Thailand about half of my life due to my dad’s job.  Traveling to places have been a passion and pride of mine since when I was little. I can say I am fearless when it comes to trying new things in different countries.  From 4th grade to 9th grade, I got an amazing opportunity to attend International School Bangkok.  Through my years of education there, I was privileged to meet friends from 60+ different countries! From 10th grade to 12th grade I decided to go to a boarding school on the Big Island of Hawaii called Hawaii Preparatory Academy.  After living it up in the land of aloha and rainbows, I moved to San Francisco to attend University of San Francisco.  I have been living here in SF for about 4 years now, I have been to many wonderful cities but San Francisco remains in my top 3!

Ok enough about me, I wanted my fellow travel enthusiasts and ex-expat kids like me to see the world through my eyes.  I want to share things I notice in different countries, local foods I especially crave at times, spots with breathtaking views, and countries on my bucket lists!
